R&B crooner Craig David has faced rumours surrounding his sexuality since for years, with chatter resurfacing last year, following an interview with music magazine Noisey, which touched on whispers of his “confused sexuality.”
The singer put the rumours to bed in an interview with The Guardian on Sunday (October 2), and had a few choice words for straight stars who find being asked about their sexuality offensive.
“I sort of find it weird when people get very ‘No! I’m not gay!’ I mean, are you homophobic in some way?” the 35-year-old Ain’t Giving Up singer said. “So I’ve always been relaxed when people are not quite sure. But knowing myself, I’m heterosexual and it’s cool.”
The British singer released comeback album, Following My Intuition, last Friday (September 30).
