Mitt Romney Blasts Donald Trump, Trump Hits Back With Blowjob Jibe
In a speech on Thursday, failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who lost to President Obama in the 2012 race, and previously in 2008, warned his party against nominating fellow Republican Donald Trump as the candidate, saying he’s not fit for the presidential nomination. He said Trump doesn’t have “the temperament nor the judgment to be President”.
Romney went on to say that “prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished” if Trump becomes President.
“Here’s what I know: Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud,” Romney said, pointing to Trump’s several bankruptcies. “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University,” he continued, saying Trump is a threat to the Republican party as well as the US. Romney went on to warn that Trump was making “scapegoats of Muslims and Mexican immigrants” through plans to build a wall between Mexico and the US.
Following his scathing attack, Trump hit back with a bizarre blowjob joke. He jibed back at Romney in a press conference, where he said that Romney “begged” for his endorsement.
“I could have said, ‘Mitt drop to your knees,’ and he would have dropped to his knees,” Trump said. “Mitt is a failed candidate – he failed. He failed horribly.”
Going on, he said Romney “is a choke artist,” and of the 2012 race said it “should have been won”.
Trump has told Fox News he would likely back a plot to overturn equal marriage, just days before telling the lesbian journalist he would “move forward” on LGBT rights. When challenged on the contradiction in a third interview, Trump attempted to maintain both contradicting views simultaneously. However, he promised evangelicals last month: “I think [evangelicals] can trust me on traditional marriage.”
Romney – who is strongly opposed to same-sex marriage – last January revealed that he did not have plans to run for President for a third time.
