No Strings With Mike Daemon (Episode 26)

NoStrings examines the harsh homophobic condition for LGBTIQ persons in Uganda with a Ugandan LGBTIQ Rights Activist and singer/songwriter. He provides details concerning the situation and condition for the Ugandan LGBTIQ Community and speaks about life for LGBTIQ persons in Uganda.

He speaks about his music and how music in general could be used as a strong advocacy tool to inform and educate people about the subject of homosexuality, even though this has sadly not being the case.

You’ll also get a chance to hear the official Ugandan LGBTIQ anthem tagged: “The Kuchu Anthem”, a melody filled with so much hope and courage. It was composed by Brayo Bryans.
