The Minority Report on the Audacity of Privilege
There are members of the LGBT community in Nigeria who actually believe that the activism for gay rights is a waste of time. That gay Nigerians who lament their inability to be in relationships or be themselves as a fault of the society is lazy. They believe that we can live our lives as we want it regardless of the homophobia in Nigeria.
This reasoning is stupid. It is irresponsible. It is unacceptable.
And in this episode of #TheMinorityReportNG, the hosts are here to find out how the privilege of a few is an argument against the fight for the fundamental human rights of the many in the LGBT community.
