Why Do Gay Men Pay Straight Men For Sex But Not Fellow Gay Men?

Why Do Gay Men Pay Straight Men For Sex But Not Fellow Gay Men?

I was in the company of some friends a few days ago, and one of them was talking about the exploits of his friend who is apparently a diehard straight boy chaser. According to this guy, his friend is very lavish in his generosity when it comes to the enticements required to get straight boys into his bed. And on those occasions when the straight boys become clingy, wanting to carry on with the sexual relationship, he cuts them off the financial gains, because he’s gotten turned off by what he perceives to be their too-much-gayness. Putting it crudely, at this time, he believes he has “converted” them and because they are now gay, they no longer hold the appeal that requires him to gift them with materialistic benefits.

And this is quite a common trend in the gay community. Gay men are swifter to cut off fellow gay men who place monetary condition on their hookup than straight men who sometimes don’t even have to state that condition.

Gay men would generally pay to get down with straight men but would hardly do the same for fellow gay men.

Why is this, I wonder.

The thrill of the chase, its essentially what turns them on.

The thrill of going after something that seems so ungettable… There’s something very alluring about that. Straight men represent a challenge to those gay men who are straight chasers.

I think its payment for erasing disgust that would most likely be felt by the straight guys in the first few moments.
I mean who wants to pay for what is supposed to be mutual enjoyment?

Still, straight guys are a no-no

Same reason a fisherman needs a bait to catch a fish and a rooster only needs to dance to mount a hen .?

A straight man has no other reason to have sex with a gay man ( who he isn’t sexually attracted to ) except for what he could gain .

A gay man has lots of reasons to have sex with another man even if the only thing he ends up getting is an orgasm.

When you look at it explicitly , who would you rather pay – someone you can convince with sweet words, fake promises or mutual horniness ?

The other – someone emotionally and sexually impervious.
Who would only put out when there’s something substantial to be gained .

    ???????

    A rather simple answer.

    ****************

I don’t think it has anything to do with the ” thrill of the chase ”
Where exactly is the ” chase ” when you’re practically buying .

The likelihood of succeeding in getting a straight man to have sex with you when you’re sparging cash and gifts is sky high especially in a country where over 60 percent of her citizens are living in multidimensional poverty.

So nope , there isn’t much of chase here .
It’s just a trade off which right from the years of Adam, has had more successes than fails.

    *Become more gay *
    Lol ?

Sexuality isn’t something that can be switched on and off .
    You’re either gay or you’re not .
The men simply became more needy ( just like anyone would ) and because he’s tasted the cookie , there’s no further incentive to keep them .

    I don’t really believe in ” conversion ”

A straight man will primarily be attracted to a woman no matter how much he enjoyed a sexual encounter with another man.

Where is the conversion there , if he still prefers the other gender ?

If a “straight ” guy suddenly starts craving for more gay sex because he had one or more sexual encounter he was allegedly paid for ….

Then he’s always been a gay man , who just needed a little nudge to fall out of his asphyxiating closet ?

Which means your friend played himself .
He didn’t pay a straight man , he paid another gay man that was playing hard to get. ????

I’ve never believed in conversion, u r either gay, straight or bi-
I’ve always find it had to believe that an entirely straight guy would engage in gay sex no matter the pay

I’m disappointed with the comments above. You can’t help a fellow gay man. This is one of the reasons the gay World (especially in Nigeria) is so messed up. We treat our fellows like they mean nothing. Ask that guy who has been disturbing your inbocfor #200 recharge card and see how he stops chatting you up. If a gay man accepts to be fucked for free in the name of love, he’s considered cheap. If he asks for money, he’s a hoe. I tire for una.
