Join The Movement With One Action Foundation

Maiden NGO, One Action Foundation, is campaigning for awareness on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, especially as it concerns the LGBT community in Nigeria. Studies have revealed that there is a higher prevalence of PTSD in sexual minorities compared to heterosexual individuals. It is believed that this will be the same in Nigeria, especially since the passing of the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act Law.

In order to bring greater awareness to the issue, One Action Foundation has decided to hold an event in the month of June, June 27th, a day which has been designated as PTSD Awareness Month by the National Center for PTSD.

As part of the campaign process, the NGO would love for you to join in the movement by recording a 60-second video talking about an action you took to make a difference in your life. This is in anticipation of the launch of their logo on June 10. Kindly upload and share the video on Instagram, Facebook and twitter using the hashtag #oneaction_.  Do make sure to follow them @oneactionfoundation so your video can be featured on their page.ONE ACTION FOUNDATION-4yes we can

LOL! It constantly amazes me how homophobes lose their appreciation of art the moment they realize the artiste is gay.
