Pamela Adie’s Documentary, ‘Under The Rainbow’, Finally Gets A Release Date

The Equality Hub’s Under The Rainbow is going to premiere on Friday, June 28, 2019, thanks to support from the British Deputy High Commission. And in time for Pride Month too!

The documentary, whose teaser was released in August last year, is a film that explores the story of Pamela Adie. As a feature documentary, Under The Rainbow provides a unique viewpoint into the issues of queer women, especially from Nigeria where the awareness of issues faced by these women is unknown to many.

Although the Friday 28 premiere is a private screening, there will be multiple screenings held over the next few months. Kindly follow @undertherainbo9 on Twitter and @undertherainbow_thedocumentary on Instagram for updates of these future screenings.

Under The Rainbow is presented by The Equality Hub, a nonprofit organisation that works to amplify the voices of, and advocate for the rights of, lesbian, bisexual and queer women in Nigeria through visual storytelling and other forms of advocacy. Under The Rainbow will be the first documentary from the stables of The Equality Hub, and other projects are reportedly in the works.
