“If I Don’t Feel Shame, Then No One Can Shame Me For What I Do.” – Porn Star Adam Ramzi

“The thing that I’ve gotten mostly out of becoming a part of the adult film industry is just a better sense of self awareness. I think that before, I was maybe not as in tune with certain things about myself that I might think about in terms of sexual situations. Maybe I had some reservations or maybe even judgments of people who put themselves out there sexually. And now that I’ve actually done that, I’m starting to be a little bit more aware of my own things that might come up, my own worries that I might be judged by people.

“When really, once I kinda came full circle with all that, I realized that it didn’t matter how people judge me, as long as I wasn’t judging myself. If I felt shame about what I was doing, then other people would follow suit and shame me for it and they would judge me for it.

“And the more I put myself out there with pride, and feeling good about myself, and feeling like what I was doing was actually doing not only better for myself but in some ways better for others, like making them feel comfortable with getting in touch with their sexuality, then it’s actually made me a more complete person.”

– Porn Star Adam Ramzi talks about sexual awareness and coming into his own, pre-Cocky Boys film shoot with co-star Carter Dane.
