“What We Go Through Is What Makes Us A Family.” Austin Wolf talks about the significance of Pride Month

Porn star, Austin Wolf, took to the social media to wish the gay community a Happy Pride Month.

“It’s June Pride Month, and you start thinking about what that means to you as a gay person,” he says, starting the video with some reflection. He talks about the first time you see someone you’re attracted to and it’s an “aha moment with yourself, and you know.”

He also talks about the time you choose to come out to those you care about and what a heart-racing moment it is.

“I feel like there is a trial by fire that we all go through that I really don’t think any other minority in this world goes through it the way we do,” he says. “And that’s what connects us. It’s what makes us a community. It’s what makes us a family. And I think it’s a large reason of why we celebrate this month.”

I love the message behind this. but sadly the LGBT community has become too political to be a family. Most everyone is looking for who else to tear down over how they’re not saying the right thing or doing the right thing or being the right thing. We’ve ironically become a community that doesn’t respect that our diversity and expects us all to be a robot colony.

Oh well. Happy Pride Month. and may we find our families in whatever corner of the community we find ourselves in.
