Somebody Out There Actually Believes That Boys Who Love Their Fathers Will Turn Out Gay
It was just a regular day on Twitter, when someone shared a video of a father teaching his son how to make something in the kitchen. Both males are black. There is music blasting in the kitchen. And both father and son seem to be having a good time cooking and dancing.
“A black father raising his son how to be a man and enjoying it! We love to see it King!!!❤️❤️❤️” the Twitter user captioned the video, which has since gone on to be liked over 345,000 times and retweeted over 75,000 times.

However, in the midst of all the appreciation of the father-son moment rose up someone with a hot take on what was going on. Twitter user @JR_13000 seemed to be of the opinion that this is “exactly why some dudes be turning gay.”
“It’s cool to show your son how to be a man,” he tweeted, “but in some ways, [you] gotta hate yo pops a lil bit. When somebody shows [you] affection, [you] start to love them. Your son might see something in [you] to make him like men.”
Considering that we’ve been told by every homophobe from church to hell that homosexuality results from boys hating their fathers, this hot take is quite confusing. So the only way to grow up not-gay is to add a little hate to the love you have for your father?
Well, Twitter of course was not about to let this wonderful show of stupidity go unnoticed. The mockery and ridicule was swift and unrelenting.
So guys, by a show of hands, which one of y’all loved your dad completely and which ones hated your dad completely? And how can we preach the message of “Love thy father with a lil bit of hate” to avoid future generations of gay men?
PS: That tweet – “I’m starting to believe that heterosexuality is the actual illness…”???. Can someone please give that person a medal!!!
