Can Eating Too Much Fatty Food Turn You Gay? This Study Seems To Think So.
In what can only be described as extremely bizarre, a self-published study claims that eating too much fatty food could result in one turning gay or transgender. No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, and yes, that is a very idiotic, not to mention, problematic statement.
According to Author Rita Strakosha, who claims to have “an M.P.S. degree in Clinical Psychology from Albanian University”, there is a connection between eating unhealthy food and being gay. The study, titled Modern Diet and Stress cause Homosexuality: A hypothesis and a potential therapy, was first published as an e-book on Amazon, and then taken down and published on Strakosha’s WordPress page “due to controversy” and so there is “wider access”, and it claims that homosexuality is caused by a person’s diet, mainly fast food consumption.
The book claims: “Homosexuals… [often eat] large amounts of high glycemic index foods and fat, or eating an imbalanced diet leaning toward carbohydrates. Some studies show an increased rate of obesity among homosexuals.”
“Gay men, lesbian and bisexual women report a higher odds of sugar-sweetened beverage consumption than straight men and women.
“Access to a high-calorie diet and alcoholic drinks was limited to the social elite circles in the past. Homosexuality as well appears to have been more frequent among that group.”
The paper ties homosexuality to fats, sugars and alcohol, proceeding to claim that cutting fatty food out of your diet can “prevent the return of homosexual attractions”. It argues that following a healthy diet with no sugar and sleeping adequately will ‘cure’ homosexuality in an individual and prevents its return.
LOL! People will say anything. Well, there it is. If y’all know anyone stricken with Internalized Homophobia and looking to get out of this ‘game of being gay’, suggest this dream solution to him.
