Chris Brown slams people who think he is in a gay relationship

Chris Brown has attacked his fans who have accused him of being in a same-sex relationship with gay French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing.

The 27-year-old singer uploaded an Instagram picture of himself standing with the designer, with an arm around Rousteing’s shoulders. Following the posting, many fans hounded him with insinuations of his sexuality.

He said: “The crazy thing is that y’all used to call me homophobic… Now y’all calling me gay???? RESPECT IS RESPECT. WHO STILL HATES PEOPLE FOR THEIR DIFFERENCES OR PREFERENCES??? Grow up. People are abundantly simple-minded.”chris2

The rapper, The Game agreed, commenting: “Lol.. People kill me homie!!! Because two successful people take a quick photo opp together & one of them is gay/or not, that means the other person is gay too!!! This guy is the head of BALMAIN…’

He added:  “Most of you n****s ain’t even employee of the month at wing stop, uncomfortable in your own skin using HATE to hide behind your own insecurities… & everybody know this n***a Chris ain’t gay & all you n****s listen to his music while yo broke ass ridin’ shotgun in yo girl car so [Cut] the bullshit & let people live.’

Brown subsequently deleted the picture.

Last year, it was reported that Brown bailed on making an appearance at lesbian event at Atlanta Pride weekend because gay men were present. He denied this was the case and later tweeted he had ‘nothing but love and respect for the LGBT community’.

People need to rest. Haba. I didn’t know Americans can be this ignorant too. If we Nigerians are forcing every hot male celeb into the gay community, they too will follow us and do?

I understand your argument, but that’s not the point here.

You kind of veered off the point with your comment. He’s not the one at fault here.

Hian! This whole word lash cracked me up. Black American english is just hilarious.

Anyway, people just love talking. This is the reason I always feel insecure taking pictures with my male friends. People would start tagging them what they’re not and it’s crushing. I’m happy The Game vouched for him (been watching this man for a while though).
The homophobia amongst black Americans seems to be as intense as the homophobia here.
