The Zimbabwean situation has always left me smiling. Smiling at the hypocrisy of the west and the mumuness of Africans plus their follow-followness. Yesterday, the creed on the lips of the whole word seems to be “zero tolerance to military interventions in governance under any guise” ,but I laugh at the full acceptance of the intervention in Zimbabwe. Tomorrow some neo-colonised will be using the stand of the west or their examples to exemplify ideals. Africa!!!
Dear Joy,I understand your expression of hopelessness but all I will do is implore you to be patient. Time is coming and very soon too, when govts all over the world will no longer legislate on who fucks who excluding acts of paedophiles of course. It sounds unrealistic but it will surely come.
I have come to the realization that people seek acceptance of their sexuality for different reasons. Many wants to be free to kiss their Adonis at public places while others feel there should be a level playing ground between gays and heterosexual relationships. There is yet a very Conservative few like me ,who seek society’s acceptance as a way to put an end to the activities of criminals(kitos).
No matter where you belong, just be patient and keep hope alive.

This pessimism was exactly how I felt when Buhari came into his presidency and some gay Nigerians thought he’d make a positive change for us

I completely relate to her tale. We LGBT people need to do more.
