#NaijaLGBTPride: LGBT Nigerians flock Twitter to Celebrate Pride Month

Yesterday, 24 June, there was kicked off a Twitter movement, marked by the hashtag #NaijaLGBTPride, to commemorate the Pride Month amongst the Nigerian LGBT communities.

With a question “What Does Pride Mean To You?”, the handle @naijalgbtpride set the stage for all LGBT Nigerians and allies to come and tweet their appreciation for what it means to be LGBT and Nigerian.

This exercise is engineered to last a week, from the 24th to the 30th, and all LGBT Nigerians are encouraged to participate, tweeting with the hashtag #NaijaLGBTPride
