Evidence That Our Marriage of Convenience Posts Work
With every The Proposal post we make, whether here on the blog or on our social media platforms, there are often comments from KDians about whether it works. The thing is, we almost never get any feedback from those who make these requests; a few come back to tell me that they are still working on a friendship with the interested suitors who respond to their requests. And then, there is the miniseries, Girl Uninterrupted, that the heterosexual female KDian, OB-Girl, penned to talk about her journey in discovering a (queer) mate after making a request here for one.
However, I have attended two weddings that resulted from these posts. I just never thought about speaking about that –
Until now. When a lesbian KDian returned to my inbox to share the news of her impending nuptials, I felt like now is the time to share that sometimes, happily ever after does come after one has made a request for a contractual partner.
