Lil Nas X Had The Perfect Response For The Twitter User Who Trolled Him Online And A Homophobic Rapper With No Grammys

The 2020 Grammys are over and the highest nominated male musician, Lil Nas X, emerged from the ceremony with two wins: Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Old Town Road featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.

Following the big night, fellow singer and Grammy winner, Lizzo celebrated with a lavish after-party at a strip club. The Truth Hurts singer, who won three awards, reportedly rented out the entire Crazy Girl Strip club to keep the party going all night. And stars like Lil Nas X and Dua Lipa were invited to the event.

A video soon emerged online which showed Lil Nas X tossing cash at the backside of the dancers, and there were comments on Twitter about why he seemed so listless in the way he was throwing the money on the dancers.

When a Twitter user asked why he looked bored, the 20-year-old rapper had the perfect response, which swiftly went viral with over 180 thousand Likes and several retweets.

The record-breaking, genre-redefining artiste kept on keeping it classy even when responding to a homophobic message shared by another musician on social media.

On Wednesday morning, Atlanta-based rapper, Pastor Troy, posted a long-winded message on Instagram, in which he hoped to explain to his 176, 000 followers – and possibly himself – the reason why he “won’t be winning a Grammy”.

The reason, according to the rant – which also included references to RuPaul, masculinity, mozzarella sticks, as well as his joy at hearing his 14-year-old son cursing at Applebee’s – is that he, Pastor Troy, would never wear a show-stopping hot pink Versace outfit – you know, like the one worn by Lil Nas X to the Grammy on Sunday.

“Welp, Guess I won’t be winning a GRAMMY…If this what I gotta wear. They love to push this shit on Our Kids!!,” the 42-year-old rapper wrote. “The other day @applebees had some punks kissing and laughing eating mozzarella sticks. First Thing My 14 yr old Son said was, “F**** Applebee’s” And It Brought Joy to My Heart!! He sees it…their agenda to take the masculinity from Men, Black Men Especially. Some may say, “He Making Money!!” Rupaul do too, but I ain’t bumping his CD!!! Integrity is Priceless. Lil Nas X’s answer to the gratuitous dig took only nine words, but it was arguably more satisfying.
