“I’m Not Gay.” Kendall Jenner addresses the rumours about her sexuality
Kendall Jenner has responded to rumours surrounding her sexuality.
The 22-year-old star has long been a person of interest when it comes to her sexuality.
Unlike her siblings, she is rarely seen with an other half on her arm. Because of her lack of a spouse, or showing off a spouse, it made everyone jump to conclusions that perhaps the supermodel is, in fact, bisexual or lesbian and has a female partner.
Speaking to Vogue, Kendall denied the rumours.
She explained that she thinks the rumours were sparked by the fact that she is not like her sisters “who are like ‘here’s me and my boyfriend!’.”
“It was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy. I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time. You don’t want to, like, look crazy,” she said.
She went on to explain that she thinks her “male energy” probably contributed to the rumour mill.
“Also, I know I have kind of a … male energy? But I don’t want to say that wrong, because I’m not transgender or anything. I have a tough energy. I move differently.”
Jenner added that she is most definitely not currently identifying on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, although she wouldn’t rule it out in the future.
“I don’t think I have a bisexual or gay bone in my body, but I don’t know! Who knows?! I’m all down for experience —not against it whatsoever — but I’ve never been there before. But to answer your question: I’m not gay. I have literally nothing to hide. I would never hide something like that,” she stated.
