People Are Suggesting Hilarious Titles for the ‘Call Me by Your Name’ Sequel
The film’s director said the title couldn’t be Call Me by Your Name Two, so fans took matters into their own hands.
Academy Award-winning, gay coming-of-age film Call Me by Your Name took the world by storm last awards season, so much so that a sequel was basically in production the second they finished the press tours. The film’s beloved stars, Armie Hammer and Timothy Chalamet, are on board to return, and reportedly Fifty Shades of Grey actress, Dakota Johnson is set to play Hammer’s wife.
The only holdup? Director Luca Guadagnino told The New Yorker that the film absolutely “cannot be Call Me by Your Name Two.”
So Twitter took it upon themselves to come up with a name for the highly-anticipated sequel, and the results are just as hilarious as you would expect…
I’d like to throw in Two Can Call Me By Your Name and This Time, Please Call Me By My Name.
