The Razzies Nominations are out and 50 Shades of Grey is in the Lead
Hollywood’s shadiest honor, The Razzies announced their nominations for the worst films of the year, just a day ahead of the Academy Award noms.
Leading the race to the bottom is 50 Shades of Grey; the wet dream that turned into a cold fish received six nominations, including Worst Picture, Worst Actor for Jamie Dornan and Worst Actress for Dakota Johnson, whose mother Melanie Griffith is a multiple Razzie nominee and one-time “winner.”
Julianne Moore and Eddie Redmayne, who both took home Oscars last year, thought no one would remember Seventh Son and Jupiter Ascending, the turkeys that proceeded their Oscar grabs. Well, The Golden Raspberries haven’t forgotten, serving them Worst Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor noms for their contributions to those “films.”
Redmayne is an Oscar nominee this year for his role in The Danish Girl; so how’s that for a balancing act. His Jupiter Ascending co-star Channing Tatum also received a Razzie nom as Worst Actor in the film. I really hope one of them wins because it’s always great whenever someone shows up to accept their Razzie—as good sports Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck (all Oscar-winners, by the way) have done in the past.

January 19, 10:07Seventh Son is simply the ghastliest. Jeezuz! I couldn’t believe Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges were in it. Like seriously, did you not read the script?! Such a mess, that movie.

January 19, 07:25Sometimes I think: should anyone beat adam sandler for worst actor in any category? Don’t need to see his awful movies to know he deserves these awards.
Absalom

January 19, 08:49These razzies just keep trying it jor. I know it’s not meant to be taken seriously, but a bad storyline doesn’t necessarily mean bad acting nau; u can give a good actor a bad script, and he plays the role convincingly, lol.

January 19, 10:46JLo should go with the Worst Actress for Boy Next Door. The movie was terribly disappointing. I loved Katherine Heigl in Home Sweet Hell. I kinda liked Jupiter Ascending…maybe it was because Channing was in it.

January 19, 13:03Huh?! Who organises this award show? That person better be wary cos I’m going to deal severely with his being if I get a hold of him! How dare they? How dare they include my Channing Tattum?! How? He never acts bad, NEVER! Oh and even if he did act horribly in the movie, couldn’t his face and damn sexiness get him out of this show of shame? Oh, this is so hurtful…I’ve lost appetite.
OAN
J.Lo didn’t do badly in that movie, Boy Next Door. What’s even the criteria for this cos I enjoyed that movie. The only movie that deserves the nomination and should damn well win every of its category is Fantastic Four! Horrible mix of shit.
Why Channing? God, why? *sobbing uncontrollably*

January 20, 19:09If Mortdecai was nominated then Mad Max Fury Road should have been too. They were both crazy, senseless, dense movies (I mean who was that guy playing the guitar from the beginning of the movie till the end) and I loved them both.
I enjoyedenjoyed Jupiter Ascending too.
