“I Am Not Lesbian. I Like Men. And I Like The D.” Wendy Williams shoots down news report that she is gay
Wendy Williams is single and ready to mingle, but she made it a point on her show yesterday to say she’s only mingling with men.
After having Whitney Houston’s reported lover, Robyn Crawford, on her show earlier this month, Williams has struck up a bit of a friendship with her. On Tuesday however, she shot down any suggestion that there’s something more going on there.
Referencing a Radar Online report that she believed was “insinuating that something romantical is happening between me and Robyn Crawford”, Wendy flat out told her studio audience, “I am no lesbian. I like women for friendship. I like men and I like the D.”
“They title the article, ‘Wendy’s been looking for female companionship and Whitney’s rolling over in her grave because Wendy has found it in Robyn Crawford,’” Williams continued. “I’m like, first of all, I’m not down with that. All due respect to the lesbians. And Robyn is married, she’s got kids and I’m not a home wrecker!”
The report said the two “became close” and have been texting, citing Whitney’s beef with Wendy as the reason Houston would “roll over in her grave”. While appearing on Wendy on November 12, Crawford confirmed that she and the legendary singer considered confronting Williams back in the day over some of the gossip she was spilling on her show.
“I’ve never even been curious,” Williams continued on the Tuesday episode of her show. “It’s so complicated being a woman, I can’t imagine two of us in a relationship. Yesterday after the show, I got the surprise of my life, at 55 I got a period. I can’t deal with two women!”
She ended the segment by giving a shoutout to Robyn. Check out the clip of that segment below.
