Actor Christian Keyes complains about too much gay attention

Actor Christian Keyes is just not into you. At all.

The actor, who plays Charlie Riggs in BET’s In Contempt, is tired of gay men sending him direct messages on Instagram. He also hates it when guys leave comments in his feed using the eggplant emoji (seen as a symbol for well-endowed men).

So a few days ago, he took to Instagram to demand for it stop ASAP.

“This might get me in trouble, but oh well,” he said. “I got nothing but love for all our brothers and sisters in the gay community. Period. It ain’t my business. That’s between you, who you love and God.”

He continued: “With that being said and respecting each other’s truths … if I respect yours, you respect mine. Gentlemen, let’s not be in the comments section with the eggplant emojis and the sexual comments. I’m not a fan of that.

“I appreciate you supporting my work but let’s not be in the DM [with] ‘Hey sexy, what’s up? What’s good?’ So, again – if I respect your truth, you respect mine. Respect people’s truths. Nobody need to be harassing nobody. It’s too much. It’s too aggressive.”

Well, is he endowed? If he ain’t, why are they typing the emoji at him? Sometimes I think we can be too extra, and at other times, he just needs to chill out and bask in the attention while refusing said requests firmly

Sexual harassment is real, and we should not ignore the fact that gay men are very good at it. And that it’s usually unchecked in the gay community, especially when we’re doing it on straight men.
But its one thing if this oga is vexing over unsolicited dick pics and persistent sexual attention in his DM even after he has clarified the thirsty hoe that he’s straight. But if he’s vexing over “hello dear” type of messages, oga should goan rest biko.
