“No, I’m Not Gay.” Alex Ekubo addresses the question about his sexuality

“There are two things I don’t talk about – my relationship and my finance. Just know that I’m not missing any meal and I’m far from being lonely,” Alex Ekubo stated in a recent interview with PTV.

The actor sat with PTVs Entertainment 360 host, Ina Peters, to talk about his acting, the issue of new Nollywood vs. old Nollywood, his faith, his bromance with fellow actor an friend, IK Ogbonna, and his sexuality.

To the question about if he is gay, he says: “No, I’m not… People will always say what they want to say about you, so whatever helps you sleep at night… If you thinking that I’m gay helps you sleep better, fine.”

Check out the entire interview HERE, but below is the clip where the question of his sexuality was addressed.

Yes he owns it now (bae and all lol), but I remember an interview where he hinted at being straight…that was my point of reference.

I dream of a Nigeria where one of these celebrities in the closet will just up and one day say, “Yes. I am gay.”
We need LGBT entertainment celebrities in Nigeria!!!
