Actor Jack Falahee Is not Impressed With Questions About His Sexual Orientation

“Yeah, people have been asking me about my sexuality ever since that Out interview. I’m very confident in my sexuality, and I really don’t like talking about my romantic life in the press. It’s pretty reductive to ask just the actor playing the gay character what his sexuality is, if you’re not going to ask that question of people playing straight characters on the show. I really don’t see what my sexuality has to do with the characters, and I think that’s private. But I find it interesting, the fascination with picking apart or outing actors who play homosexual characters on TV or in films. We don’t have that same fascination with actors who are portraying heterosexual characters.”

I just wish some people would just learn to appreciate people for their talent and not make an issue about their sexuality.

Sex sells. Heterosexual sex has been over-sold,there is still plenty market for homosexual sex, hence, the question

I wish he’d just shut up and maybe improve more on his acting. Its a hit show and all…but all these interviews and the surreptitious way he tries to evade questions abt his sexuality is becoming a tad annoying. tbh

@Max,I didn’t sit for Igbo in my WAEC. My secondary school stylishly insisted we all elect Yoruba, just I stylishly became a truant the day Yoruba exams were written after I found out from the Guidance Counsellor and JAMB brochure that language had no role in securing me a university undergraduate admission.

is this bitch seriously stupid?(not rhetorical). The guy has got a point. Did anyone ask Alfred Enoch if he is straight because Wes boned Rebecca? That does not make him entirely straight.
And as for his acting, i was definitely turned on by all his sex scenes and not to secretly wished i replaced the other guys. I doubt I’d be able to say the same were it you.
