JK Rowling yet again proves she is the Queen of Twitter

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed she is the Queen of Twitter after taking a pop at Vice President Mike Pence.
Responding to an old tweet Mr Pence put out during the election campaign, where he called a ban on Muslims “offensive and unconstitutional”, she quoted a verse from the Bible.Screen-Shot-2017-02-02-at-11.49.30

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Matthew 16:26,” she said on the social media site.

It wasn’t long, however, before the trolls were out in force to attack the celebrated author.

Though never one to miss a beat, JK was quick to take a few of them down.

First, she reminded them that anyone is free to talk about politics.Screen-Shot-2017-02-02-at-11.49.57

Then she tackled some of the abuse – such as being called “Mrs Shitty Writer”.IMG_20170205_043341_6207

And gently educated a few of them on how economics work.Screen-Shot-2017-02-02-at-11.50.28

And, of course, let’s not forget that time she schooled the Daily Mail on its criticism of a gay judge.Screen-Shot-2017-02-02-at-11.54.00

What I love about this woman’s responses to trolls is they’re razor sharp while still staying classy. I think of her as the film character who’d slice the villain’s throat while still sipping tea.

  2. it’s the ingenious brain she used in formulating these clap back responses that she used in penning down the classic we all know as, Harry potter. she is a Legend.
