KITO DIARIES IS FOUR YEARS OLD

KITO DIARIES IS FOUR YEARS OLD

“Four years gone. I still remember the first time I saw this blog, and in my mind, I was like, two weeks and it’ll quit…” – KDian.

And indeed, there have been a number of times when quitting seemed like the best way to go: to simply stop and shed the responsibility of educating, enlightening and entertaining the Nigerian LGBT community.

But then comes the realization that there can be no peace of mind when we refuse to do the much or little we can in the movement to make all of us free.

Kito Diaries is 4 today. That is 4 years of doing the much or little we can so that we can all be free. And it was an effort in community, endurance, obligation and love.

Let us keep doing more for another four years.

You have no idea just how much you’ve done for the Nigerian LGBT just cos of this blog
    How many lives you’ve saved
how many kito experiences you’ve averted
How many early morning office erections you’ve given
How many Nigerian gay men you’ve made to stay woke
Trust me when I say you’ve touched more lives than that gossip fest, Linda Ikeji blog
