Kristen Stewart Talks About Her Sexual Orientation, Says She’s Not Hiding

“Google me, I’m not hiding… If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it. But I am an actress, man. I live in the fucking ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies… I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”

— Kristen Stewart speaking to Nylon magazine in reference to numerous paparazzi photos that show her holding hands with Alicia Cargile and comments allegedly made by her mother about the relationship of the two young women

Ah, what a world it’ll be, when sexuality won’t be such an issue. Men with men, women with women, men with women, it’d be as common as saying hi to the friendly neighbour.

I’ve noticed there has been less coming out stories from our Hollywood fellows. Two years back, or so, I could remember how every month would bring out a gay celebrity out of his/her shell. Lol…. and I still remember the cries of the ladies after the coming out of Wentworth Miller. Hehe.

Still, there are people who really don’t need (or want) the whole attention of coming out, but they wouldn’t have to deny when approached with that question. At least I know of Queen Latifah (or has they been a coming out for her?). She has been seen holding hands and getting all romantic at the beach with someone… but a public announcement of “Hey, I am gay”? Nahhh. You just have to figure it out yourself.
