The Pink Panther

The Pink Panther

Alter Ego_Pink PantherMaxonex gave me this gift a couple of days ago. It wasn’t my birthday, but this was very much appreciated. It’s the pink representation of a CGI cat – the Pink Panther.

And I said to myself, what other day to use it as my blog avatar than today, the National Coming Out Day. For those of you who are not aware, the National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is an internationally observed civil awareness day celebrating individuals who publicly identify as a gender or sexual minority. The day is observed annually by members of the LGBT community and its allies on October 11.

So…ncodid9

Come out, come out, wherever y’all are! 😀

Hmmm. The ones sleeping I’ll give kisses as soft, magical and tender as Maleficent’s; they’ll all be wide awake. But, the atmosphere isn’t so good though. What’s up with Stanley Igho?

Caution about coming out. The only person I advise to come out @ this time is that person that is ready to bear the emotional and physical heat that might follow. Some parents are the ones that will call the police on their sons. This is even a child,s play in a world were people kill hundreds of “unbelievers” as a duty towards god.

Well, obviously I have no business celebrating today since I don’t publicly identify as gay guy yet.
And the international LGBT community should pack well jor. What did they successfully do when Jona slammed us with 14 more years?

Thank you very much, but I’ll come out on my own terms. *goes back to enjoy weekend sleep*

I like to say that in Nigeria, the concept if coming out doesn’t exist. what we have here are closets within closets with multiple doors. You start out being locked firmly behind several sets of doors & as you get more comfortable with your sexuality, you come out frok behind one set of doors and emerge into another closet … very few have actually taken the final step, coming out from behind the last set of doors and facing the outside world squarely with the truth about their sexuality … maybe in 50years time someone will do it and everyone will wonder what all the fuss was about anyway …
