The Thirst

The Thirst

The soul is lonely, longing for a companion

The heart is weary, craving a dear

Words fail me

Who can be told?

Isn’t love a beautiful thing

Or the bearers beauty carriers?

But then it comes with some baggage

That baggage none can tell

Oh, how singles miss!

Those mesmerizing moments

The long talks and chit chat

Indeed, it is beautiful

But the thirst is at the brim

The yearning highly demanded

The heart open for another

Loneliness a killer

Where is the Prince Charming?

Who is he?

Why does he tarry?

How can he be identified?

But then

There’s a confidence

Lines will fall in pleasant places

Very soon, it will become a fairy tale
