“I’m Not Homophobic.” Pastor Troy says as he doubles down on his homophobia and his Lil Nas X comments
Rapper Pastor Troy is not backing down from comments he made about fellow rapper Lil Nas X.
The 42-year-old rapper ignited a controversy when he expressed his revulsion for Nas, 20, who appeared at the Grammy Awards in a hot pink S&M-inspired Versace outfit complete with pink hat, shoes and matching belt.
The outfit went viral on social media, triggering Troy’s toxic male outrage.
“Welp, Guess I won’t be winning a GRAMMY if this what I gotta wear,” Troy wrote on social media, while sharing a bonding moment with his 14-year-old son at an Applebee’s restaurant.
Following the inevitable backlash on social media, Troy took to Instagram and wrote in a since-deleted post: “It worked! It worked perfectly! Cause now all these f****ts on my page and they wanna fight me. See that’s that male aggression coming back out! It’s in ya, ya just gotta let it hang out! You feel me!? Now you wanna fight! That’s what I’m taking about! Be a man! It’s a war going on. Y’all better get to fightin’, Amen.”
While Lil Nas X didn’t seem too bothered by Pastor Troy’s comments, Troy doubled down on his comments when he went on Morning Hustle Show to further explain what he meant by his social media rant.
“It was just going across social media so much, I just … I just couldn’t take it,” he said on the radio show. “I had to say something”, adding that “if this what it takes to get a Grammy, then I just won’t get one.”
Pastor Troy, for the record, has never won a Grammy.
When Troy was asked how he’d respond if his 14-year-old son came out as a homosexual, he said “I don’t even entertain no stuff like that,” he said while shaking his head dismissively. “I don’t even put that thought in my mind. I don’t put that into the atmosphere.”
And then he added, “I command my son to be a man.”

February 04, 20:09At 42, he has achieved nothing and needs an excuse. The straightest country singers have won Grammys. The roughest rappers with a female body count in thousands, the most macho without long hair, they all have them. Even Beck that is just straight and plain. So while wasting more of his life at Applebee’s, he realizes his young son would soon start wondering why daddy is you know, so ordinary and then a successful boy half his age struts across the screen in hot pink. It’s not rocket science guys.
