In case you’d forgotten that Luke Evans is gay… He has officially introduced fans to his very sexy boyfriend
Because of his macho, leading man roles in Hollywood, it’s easy to forget that Beauty and the Beast star, Luke Evans, is gay. In fact, I have mentioned it to some friends who are very into pop culture, and they greeted the news with shock. Apparently, they didn’t even know!
Well, the Welsh star has gone Instagram official with the love in his life.
Evans posted a video with his boyfriend, art director Rafa Olarra, and it’s pretty darn cute.
“He loves my welsh humour….no, honestly!! he does!!” Luke captioned the clip, which judging by the “hawaiimemories” hashtag, was likely shot on vacation.
The clip has no sound, but you can tell the guys are really enjoying themselves:
According to Rafa’s profile, in addition to being an art director, he’s also a tri-athlete, “motivated climber,” and globe trotter. Sounds like a catch!
Here’s some more from his feed:

February 11, 06:11I’m not surprised he’s gay as the first time I saw him in the movie “Beauty & The Beast” where he played the antagonist “Gaston”, his mannerisms were hard to miss that this guy plays for our team. At first, I thought they were deliberate (his mannerisms) not until this post confirmed my suspicions. They’re both hot though.

February 11, 11:19Luke Evans “came out” a few years before doing anything in Hollywood and talked about wanting to be the first openly gay leading man and A-list actor.
However, when he started to get substantial roles in Hollywood movies, it seemed as if he was trying to hop back in the closet. People kept bringing up that old interview which forced him to live out.
He has been out ever since, but has been incredibly evasive about his love life and private about his relationship. Which makes this insta-reveal a pretty big deal.
But yeah, I guess with his super macho roles and the fact that he’s not out there being gay and out, it’s pretty easy to forget he’s a homosexual. Still, I love how stars like him, Matt Bomer and Neil Patrick Harris can be so unapologetically gay, and yet not at all stereotyped by Hollywood.
