Since the speech aired, the world’s been waiting with bated breath for Trump’s reaction — which finally arrived yesterday morning in a rambling series of Tweets that are as ludicrous as you’ve come to expect:

    1. I think the Golden Globes was as right as any platform for Meryl to give her speech. Think of the number if people tuned in, think of the reach of the platform, think of the reporting it would get (as it already has) as against her calling, say, a private press conference. In her shoes I would do the same.

    2. What would you call the hand gesture,Pete?.

      Praising him?.

Meryl got only one the wrong in her speech, the date. All else is right on the money

    3. Video evidence of numerous other instances whereTrump made the exact same gesture to fully able-bodied people when attacking them exist. It’s just Trump being his silly self

  1. I’m on fire with this first to comment thing. It is very clear that no one agrees with what trump did, but I can’t help but to agree with some of the things about tweeted. There’s a place to do certain things, and who’s to say that the award ceremony was the right place. That being said, that speech was really something. I at least know that I would use that quote in the future. If I was an American, I bet I would have cried

  2. *sitting down with a tub of popcorn to watch the next 4 years*

If this man hasn’t gotten into office yet and is already this insane, I shudder to think what the world would be in the next 4 years.

  3. I actually got my Twitter account re-activated cos of this man. It is going to be a fun 4 years.

    P.S: Happy new year guys
