Ellen DeGeneres Responds to ‘Gay Agenda’ Accusations With Humor

Ellen DeGeneres has a special way of crushing her haters with humor.

Remember that report about evangelist Larry Tomczak blasting Hollywood, Anderson Cooper and Ellen DeGeneres over their agenda to ‘gay the world.’ (Read HERE)

Well, the 56-year-old talk show host took time during Wednesday’s monologue to address comments about her in the Christian Post column entitled, “Are You Aware of the Avalanche of Gay Programming Assaulting Your Home?” that was penned by the conservative pastor and author Larry Tomczak. In the article, Tomcazk railed against Hollywood’s gay agenda and said that The Ellen DeGeneres Show “celebrates her lesbianism and ‘marriage’ in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls.”

“OK, let’s just break this down. First of all, I’m not ‘married,'” said Portia de Rossi’s wife of six years. “I’m married. That’s all.”

DeGeneres continued, “Larry, I don’t even know what it means to celebrate my lesbianism. I mean, well, I guess I do, it’s like that!” she said, removing a party popper from her blazer pocket and setting it off. “I’m gay!”

She ended on a more serious note, denying that she was trying to influence children in a negative way.

“Larry, the only way I’m trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another,” she said. “That is the message that I’m sending out. I don’t have an agenda. I’m not here to brainwash anyone. But…”

With that, her stage manager handed her a spinning vortex and, holding it up to the camera, she added, “Listen to the sound of my voice. Attention youth of the world: I want you to live your lives being exactly who you are. Be true to yourself. The most important thing is to be true to yourself.”

DeGeneres, 1, Tomczak, 0.

Now, if only Anderson Cooper will respond as well. 🙂

LMAO! Indeed, Absie. The ratings he awarded the gay TV shouldn’t be ignored.

King, his comment holds no water because he never made any type of sense :a talk-show host is trying to turn straight girls into lesbians, by inviting a heterosexual singer to her show? Really? What are talk-show hosts supposed to do biko? Isn’t that the job?.
If u recognize the foolishness in his comments, I think u would agree that the scoring isn’t even accurate; Larry’s score should be in the negative.

Ellen was articulate and used her wit and wisdom well in letting Larry and her viewers know the truth. Common sense prevails.

So between himself and Ellen, who is preaching love and who is preaching hate? It’s really sad!

I remember dropping a comment on another blog recently and some idiot comes at me

“Dennis Macaulay? Not here! You can be gay, but keep your gayness out of my face! Yes I said it”

I am not really one to fight online so I let it slide. But it’s really funny how I have to keep my “gayness” out of your face, even though heterosexuality is rubbed in my face everyday!

Let’s assume there is a “gay agenda”, wouldn’t homophobes speaking out also translate to an “anti-gay” agenda/propaganda???..

These people don’t realize how foolish they make themselves look. Anyway every man to his opinion
