Korede Bello has apparently become the Nigerian Justin Bieber

I don’t mean the title in the terms of musical stardom. I mean that in the way the public has taken to taunting her – sorry, him as a girl. All that internet shade about her – damnit, him being Tiwa Savage’s lesbian partner… lol. DM, will you keep kwayet? 😀 facebook-20160429-145243

This is cyber bullying. I can imagine a few folks here (based on what y’all write) have been through this sorta thing. Don’t add to it by calling the poor handsome young man a girl. Most of them may be jealous of his looks. I hope he gets the strength to withstand the bullying.

    I agree with @Cho

Somehow this post does not sit right with me. It is as if it is validating bullying of effete guys. I would have expected the commentary to say it isn’t right to call Korede a girl in a derogatory fashion and not join in the “fun”.

First of all, Korede isn’t effete, nobody said that. Secondly it’s all in good humor, look at that picture, does any of that look serious to you?, the weather is too hot abeg, y’all need to chill out. Jeez the self righteousness of it all !!!!, Cyber bullying indeed.

      You are right Griffin.

Next time someone calls you “ome ka nwanyi”, in good humour, flip your weave, adjust your hand bag and hemline and step like Naomi Campbell away from them.

So now he isn’t gay, he’s a girl whose partner is a girl (in this case Tiwa?). I wonder how Nigerians would have the time to conjure up such ridiculous things and still complain of the horrible state of the country. We have time shaa…

If he is straight, this shade won’t hurt him at all. If he is gay, well he would feel offended

Everyone (everywhere i go…i swear) says I look like korede bello…i wonder if they also think this about me…that young cute boy with the afro…that looks like a woman…

On another note…PP, You promised to pit help lines to relevant organisations like TIER et al that could be of help, still awaiting.

Also, can I suggest a locally produced “how to” section on your blog, new members in the gaybourhood come here to see how things are done, and google is not much helpful as things they tell you to use are not that helpful in Nigeria. #justsaying.

    Thanks?

Lol…HOW TO PREPARE FOR SEX AS A BOTTOM…HOW TO PROTECT YOUR SELF…HOW TO AVOID PAINTING IN THE BEDROOM…HOW TO SEEK MEDICAL HELP …HOW TO WADE THROUGH THE GAYBOURHOOD. I don’t know sha…just some helpful tips from a Nigerian perspective would go a long way.

Oh, ok. I see your point. I mentioned that too on one or two occasions. Hopefully PP finds the time and energy to implement that.
