He was brought in, and the blindfold removed from his vision as the aide that brought him in was given directive by Her Excellency.
“Your name is Bryan,” Governor Victoria said to Bryan.
Bryan sighed as his body struggled with the propofol whose effect was passing away like the hand of the clock. “Yes.”
“I’m not asking you. I’m telling you.” Governor Victoria smiled. “How’s the milk of amnesia? You like the taste?”
“I’ve not committed any treason against the state,” Bryan said with courage.
Governor Victoria stood from her desk and walked towards the shelf and grabbed an edition of the Criminal Code Act and held it the way a protestant pastor holds a bible. “In this Penal Code, in chapter twenty one, section two hundred and fourteen, sub-section three is a clause which states that any person who permits a male person to have carnal knowledge of him or her against the order of nature; is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.
“Before you get intelligent and start to argue the way lawyers do,” – she smiled and sat – “Section two hundred and seventeen goes further to say any male person who, whether in public or private, commits any act of gross indecency with another male person, or procures another male person to commit any act of gross indecency with him, or attempts to procure the commission of any such act by any male person with himself or with another male person, whether in public or private, is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for three years.
“So we’re looking at seventeen years here if the state takes you to court.” She smiled a wicked smile and gently slammed the Criminal Code Act against her study table. “And don’t forget that Eucharia, the state’s Chief Judge, was appointed by me.”
Fear ensconced in his belly like a heavy metal.
“But not to worry, for I know what you want. You’re digging for gold.” Her Excellency detached a blank cheque from her cheque book, signed it and gave it to him. “And here is gold. Whatever you want, write and cash it and leave my son alone.”
Repeated No-nods came from Bryan. “I don’t need it.”
Her Excellency chuckled. “You can’t be serious. Is this” – the detached cheque was fluttering in her right hand – “not why you are after my son? Are you not in his life because of what you stand to gain? So take the money and leave. You can build the most sophisticated art studio in Africa…and you and my son would no longer be business partners. You w-”
“You’re mistaken, Your Excellency, with all due respect,” Bryan said.
“Fine, I might be mistaken. What is it you want?”
“I’m sorry, Your Excellency. You can’t put a price on the love that your son and I have for each other. My love for Ralph transcends money and mate-”
Governor Victoria slapped Bryan. “You’re sick. You know nothing about love.”
“I do.”
“No you don’t. For queers like you, love is jumping in bed with men who have got abs and money. All you’re interested in is your gain.”
“No ma’am. Love for me is beyond that.”
Anger had taken abode in her eyes. “A nobody wants to teach me. Fine! Be my guest. What’s love?”
Tears were running down Bryan’s cheeks.
“Stop, and tell me what love is,” Her Excellency reiterated dispassionately.

But I want to shoot the homophobic mother with a rifle. To think that she became dyke after what she caused and cost her son and his truthful faithful lover?
We want to meet this author Panther. He thinks crazily. He thinks outside the box. It was not about the sex after all. He had a strong meaningful story. I would still enjoy the book wirhout the sex but I liked the sex.
You can’t imagine what I did to me.
We need to meet the crazy fine author. Can you do that for us PP?

My personal favourite is Bryan. If I can have a bf like him, I’d be faithful like a bloodhound.
Another personal favourite is Father Mimiko, the queer Roman Catholic priest. I liked what Ralph Awolowo did to him. It is kito in a grand style (reversed kito.)
Another personal favourite: The homophobic mother turned a diesel dyke.
My crying moments: Why will Bryan and Ralph die?
I ask again, is this author truly Nigerian?
