A Story About Conversion Therapy Targeting Nigerian Queer Women Is In The Works And The Reporter Wants To Speak With Queer Women
Hello guys, a reporter for CNN is working on a story on the attacks against lesbian, bisexual and trans + women – women who have been attacked for their sexuality and attempts have been made to convert them.
In her words: “I am primarily interested in, but not limited to, speaking with people whose families, friends or homophobic persons have monitored or kitoed online via social media platforms or dating apps and this has then migrated to their being kitoed physically and undergoing conversation practices.
“If people want to speak anonymously, they are very free to do so, please. Those who may only want their voices are also welcome and those who don’t mind being on camera are also welcome.
“I would love to speak to as many LBT+ people who have undergone this experience, especially of conversation practice.”
