The First Look at the Trans Cast of Ryan Murphy’s Pose Is Just As Fierce As You Imagined

As a treat tied to National Trans Awareness Week (starting today, November 20), Entertainment Weekly has gifted us with a glimpse of the flawless cast of Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series, Pose.

The series, which takes place in 1980s New York City, looks at the various cultural collisions that happened in the city and are still happening today, including the vastly wealthy and downtown ball performers.

Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals sit at the helm as series creators of the FX series. Pose will also feature Murphy-verse mainstay Evan Peters, along with Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek, and Tatiana Maslany, with Tony Award winner Billy Porter set to make an appearance as well.

See EW’s Instagram post below, featuring (left to right) Hailie Sahar, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Angelica Ross, and M.J. Rodriguez. The pilot is filming now with a slated premiere date sometime next year.
