Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at an alleged homophobic attack by saying he was “a faggot with a lot of money, shithead”.
The Real Madrid striker was responding to Atletico Madrid player Koke who allegedly called him “a faggot”.
Spanish radio revealed the exchanged occurred during Saturday’s derby between the two teams where Real Madrid won three-nil, thanks to a hat-trick scored by Ronaldo.
Koke refused to comment on the alleged discussion after the game.
Ronaldo was given a yellow card for his part in the altercation and had not received one in any of the previous 12 meetings with Atletico Madrid.
This won’t be the first time the soccer star has received homophobic abuse. In April, a Spanish LGBT rights group complained over abuse the star received in a game against Barcelona.

Best reply…Ronaldo has surpassed any ambition or target a footballer can set for himself. Therefore calling him gay is nothing but sheer jealousy. Analyzing this, the way he admittedly recounted this story to his teammates shows he is either gay and out to his teammates or they know he is straight like an arrow.
