Eddie Redmayne dazzles in ‘The Danish Girl’ movie posters

The first posters for transgender period drama, The Danish Girl, have been released.
The Brit actor has taken on the role of transgender pioneer Lili Elbe for the film directed by Tom Hooper, who also helmed Oscar winners Les Miserables and The King’s Speech.
It looks set to be another incredible transformation for the Oscar winner who in 2014 portrayed Professor Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
Redmayne is becoming well known for playing physically and mentally challenging roles. He undertook the slow process of learning how to live with motor neurone disease as Hawking. And this time around, he researched how to live as a transgender woman in the 1920s.
Based on a true story, Lili was originally a landscape painter, who realised that she was transgender after posing in women’s clothes for her wife. Einar went on to undergo one of the first gender reassignment surgeries, before living out her life as Lili Elbe.
The Danish Girl has a release date of 1 January 2016 – in the middle of awards season.

I finally watched I am cait yesterday and I tried hard not to cry. Being Trans is beyond playing dress up, there are real issues and I have even more respect for Caitlyn Jenner and the work that she is doing with her new found voice.
I will definitely see this movie!
LMAO, the almighty DM tried not to cry. Hehehehehe
That show was really dope. Him and his genius mind that saw the world in sculptures and architectural designs.
Lol!
Lemme
Saw a bit of the 1st episode of I am caitlyn too ovwer the weekend. Regardless of what I think of her and how soon the show was rolled out, there is no denying the degree of power and reach that show holds in terms of information amd education about struggles of transgender people. The show is a real eye opener. You see things from a whole new perspective. So dennis, yeah! I understand the part about trying not to cry, I caught up with it half way to the end, but you can’t help but feel something by watching things unfold, its that powerful.
Her mother made me tear up! She said that watching Bruce receive the gold medal at Montreal made her immensely proud and she thought he had made her the proudest.
However now she realises that transitioning to Caitlyn made her the proudest ever because of the courage it took bruce!
Yeah that moment would just make you wish parents the world over can see their kids who are “different” in the same light. Seeing how kanye (a hip hop heavyweight) being so accepting and kim crediting him for helping her reach acceptance, was a quite surprising for me, but the most touching part of the show for me. The winning part of the show for me is the trip he took to visit the family of the 14 year old transgender who commited suicide and attending the balloon floating ceremony organised in by the friends to mourn their friend, all the paparazzi he had to escape from, the multiple car change. I would sure be tuning no doubt
Eddie Redmayne i love this guy, i started having feelings(lol) for this guy in “The Pillars Of The Earth” *in british accent* i can’t wait to see The Danish Girl.
Why couldn’t they have picked a transexual for the role? May people not use your struggles for award
Hey! and V not seen All this series… now where do I get ’em?….
