Gay Porn Star Ricky Larkin says there aren’t “that many good looking black guys in porn”

During this period when America is getting a shakeup regarding Black Lives, different entertainment sectors are getting confronted with how they have contributed to the systemic racism plaguing the United States. And one of those sectors in the porn industry. Just a few weeks ago, porn star Billy Santoro was canceled when he made the racially insensitive comments about how America should shoot first at the protesters. Then another performer, Ben Masters, was dragged for attempting to use his struggles as a gay person to mask his racist disdain for the BLM movement.

Also, the studio, Sean Cody, got some heat when it posted its support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and suffered a backlash from several Twitter users over its lack of diversity of male models and performers.

And now, another adult performer, Ricky Larkin, is catching some major flak (and justifiably so) for offering his opinion as to why there is an unequal representation of black performers in mainstream porn.

In a since deleted video, Larkin stated suggested that the reason why there is no more than a handful of black men in mainstream porn is because there “are not that many good looking black guys in porn.”

“It’s that simple,” he continues. “If there were better looking black guys in porn, there would be more black men shot for major studios.”

Fellow performer and equal representation advocate, Kuper Ryan, screenshot the video before it was deleted and posted it on Twitter.

This prompted a swift reaction of outrage from his community of actors who were not having it.

A person who looks like cow dung that has been run over by a trailer has this to say about black pornstars?

    Jesus be a fucking mirror!

This is the curse on minorities everywhere. Blacks. Women. Gays. They must all be exceptional in their endeavors to get a fraction of the same recognition that the Whites, the Men and the Straights get. There are literally many white performers whose looks range from bland to vomit-worthy. And yet, they get cast in studios.
But sure, let’s believe that the reason studios don’t cast black performers is because there aren’t enough attractive men out there.

Many years ago he made transphobic comments and was called out for it. Then porn studios and his agent booked him to shoot with trans porn actresses.

Also many years ago he said he was gay4pay and said some homophobic things. After that he declared he was bisexual then he started doing more bi/ gay porn. Later he took it back and said he’s straight.

Porn companies especially gay porn studios should’ve been more responsible in not hiring this loon years ago. He’s been very disrespectful of the gay/ trans community and it’s adult industry. And now the black community. Gay porn studios needs to hire and promote its gay actors and especially gay performers of color. Every time something stupid goes on it’s some g4p or fake bisexual actor. For the porn studio to save face, they pair the problematic actor to a gay or trans actor as on apology. No fire them and dont pay them.

What’s crazy is that everyone who left a comment, insulted him. So, I’m guessing it’s okay to be just as rude because he has status. Mandy insulted white performers as Ricky did black performers. 🤔 Jordan makes some decent points but at the end of the day, business owners will run their business as they see fit. You have a problem with that, then don’t support it. Simple.
