Porn star Ben Masters tries to use discrimination against him for being gay as justification for his racism
CockyBoys performer, Ben Masters, posted—and then deleted and tried to walk back—a racist video, but not before it was captured and shared on Twitter. The video started with a story about a trip to the liquor store, and quickly escalated with statements like this:
“I know that it sucks that not everyone is treated equal, but also like, I’m not treated equal, either…”
“I’m not going to go and risk being injured or in pain or hurt or anything right now outside because I’m told I’m supposed to using my body as a barrier for the black people in these parades. And I don’t feel I should be using my body as a barrier.”
And it kept on going, like a train wreck in slow motion.

After he deleted the video, Masters posted an apology.
However, his apology came a tad late, as Twitter had already taken note and was reacting. Jake Jaxson, the CEO of CockyBoys (where Masters is signed on as an exclusive model), reacted by tweeting that the performer’s contract had been terminated.
Today we have terminated our contract with Ben Masters.
Ben’s video, posted earlier today, is uneducated and unacceptable on every level. It goes against everything both RJ and I believe in and stand for, and we will not tolerate this sentiment from any of our performers.

Masters is not the only gay porn star who’s getting called out for his racism. Billy Santoro has come under fire for posting on social media that America is letting “blacks loot as a way of protest. Wake the fuck up. Shoot first.”

Re: Ben Masters. All it takes is a few poorly phrased,selfish remarks from a silly twink to potentially destroy his career. His remarks seem to be motivated by hurt from treatment received from homophobes and bigots. Social media has too much power now and folks on the net can destroy a person’s life like that! Of course he shouldn’t get off scott free, but even a criminal gets probation. I guarantee he would not have been fired if Cockyboys hadn’t felt the pressure. Save the social media soul assassination for those who really deserve it like Donald Trump and his homophobic vice president. GL!
