Dear KD: I Need Help From My Community

Hello guys,

It has taken me a lot of time to come to conclusion writing to my queer community, but I really don’t know what else to do.

I’m in a dilemma right now and I need financial help. My mother has been diagnosed of kidney failure since February. And we’ve been on dialysis but not regularly because of funds.

Now, she’s in a chronic state and she needs to do this dialysis at least twice a week. I’m in need of financial help. My family has run out of funds and I have been trying to raise some money. I really do understand the current economic situation in this time being. But please, no amount is too small as the cost of her dialysis which is twice a week is N30,000 per session and  two banks of blood (N40,000). So, cost of running dialysis every week is approximately N70,000.

This is minus other medical expenses. Please, no amount is too small to help with. Also, from those who are Christian, I need your prayers as this is a really tough time for me and my family. I am grateful for Pink Panther for creating this avenue where we can interact as a community and rely on one another to help those of us who are struggling through situations like this.
