If your heart knocks your ribcage when they’re near

This Sandra says

 My heart yearns for you alone

My soul craves you, Ekene

She says

Anytime I am around you, I feel safe

Don’t you feel same? She wants to know

I nod

I love you Ekene, I can die for you

Do you love me too? She asks

I nod

 Then Kelvin enters the room, bare-chested

And just like that, I unwrap myself from Sandra

Gawd! My heart is racing.
